Accessibility Statement

HARISCH HOTELS GMBH is committed to ensuring that its website at harischhotels.com complies with the Accessibility Act (as of the date of entry into force on June 28, 2025) as amended to implement the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882) regarding the accessibility requirements for products and services.

 

1. Status of Compliance with Requirements

This website complies as far as possible with Conformity Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). The non-conformities and exceptions are listed below.

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

 

2.1 Non-compliance with accessibility requirements

  • PDF documents are available for download on the website that are currently not accessible.
    If you need assistance with non-accessible PDF documents, please contact marketing@harischhotels.com.
    Wir versuchen, Ihnen in diesem Fall die Inhalte so weit wie möglich in geeigneter Art und Weise zur Verfügung zu stellen.
  • In such cases, we will endeavor to provide you with the content in an accessible format to the greatest extent possible.
  • Some foreign-language words or phrases appearing in the alternative text for images used on the website, in link descriptions, and in headings are often not pronounced correctly by assistive technologies such as screen readers. Correcting the pronunciation is currently technically not technically possible to edit the pronunciation.

 

2.2 Undue burden

Some recorded videos and audio files lack the required audio description or text alternative (WCAG Success Criteria 1.2.3 (Audio Description) and 1.2.5 (Media Alternative)), making the spoken content inaccessible to deaf users. We believe that rectifying this would constitute a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.

 

2.3 Content Excluded from the Scope

  • Some proper nouns used on the website, such as the names of our offerings, are not rendered correctly by assistive technologies like screen readers. Proper nouns are explicitly excluded from WCAG Success Criterion 3.1.2 (Language of Website Content) and are therefore not always audible with correct pronunciation.
  • Some abbreviations used on the website are not rendered correctly by assistive technologies such as screen readers. WCAG Success Criterion 3.1.4 (Abbreviations) is not required for Level AA of WCAG 2.2.
  • Third-party content that is not developed, funded, or controlled by HARISCH F&B GMBH is also not subject to the requirements of the BaFG.

The aforementioned incompatibilities with accessibility regulations are continuously reviewed and—where possible—gradually resolved.

This statement was prepared based on a self-assessment in accordance with WCAG 2.2 and is updated regularly, most recently on March 30, 2026
